5 Weeks Postpartum Bleeding Started Again

New haemorrhage five weeks afterwards nascency. Normal????

Bleeding (locchia) had almost disappeared a few days ago. It wasn't very heavy at all after I had my baby. Only in the last couple of days information technology has increased a lot and is heavier than it always was, and is now fresh bright scarlet claret. I was using a pantliner simply now need a proper pad again (sorry if TMI). I had birth by CS.
Is the bleeding normal or should I see my doctor????

It'due south normal, a menstruum. I had it too, every two weeks at first. And BF too! what a swizz.
Oh! I hadn't planned on having a menses for months!!!! That was the best affair about being pregnant - No periods!
And yep, I am Bfeeding!
OK, at least I don't need to worry at present and will expect until 6 week cheque upward earlier seeing the physician!
leogaela, I had this 6 weeks later birth. It just lasted a couple of days though... and so all the same non certain if information technology was a period or what!
Probably a flow - I kept bleeding on and off for 6 weeks and my GP said that they thought information technology was my period. I took fe tablets and felt much meliorate and my Gp advised that if it persisted that they would ship me to hospital for a scan but you could mention it at your six week cheque and they will look later on you.

Take you lot been over doing information technology, my locchia came and went whenever I overdid it.
I probably have been overdoing information technology - typical for me - but I feel fine!
I had read that haemorrhage tin can exist caused by a piece of placenta existence left backside (which was why I was a scrap worried) but if I had a CS that shouldn't happen should it???? i was also worried that every bit I may have overdone it that I had split the stitches in the uterus (or something gory similar that) but they should have healed upwardly by at present. I am trying to take it very easy now.
Are y'all on the pill over again?? I was told past the mw in the infirmary to start again 3 weeks later giving birth (although my doc says I shouldn't have...diferent story) but anyway I then had my showtime menses almost immediately (about 5-6 weeks later giving birth), so mayhap information technology could be comething like this??
Leogaela, I accept had the aforementioned thing and was going to commencement a thread when I found yours. My dd is two weeks old and my locchia stopped after 4 days (I likewise had a cs) but information technology reappeared 2 days ago merely this time quite heavy and dark. I am also bf my dd, and so I was also thinking what you were thinking. I think I was overdoing it every bit well, going shopping and out cleaning the house in between mammoth bf sessions. I went to the doctors today with dd to register her and the doctor told me not to worry unless it gets progressivly heavier or smelly then it could be an infection. Mine is neither of those and so I wont worry for a while still.
Tiny01 - i had my 6 calendar week checkup yesterday.. the dr. confirmed it is normal menstrual bleeding (he did a scan to check information technology). I expected to be menstruation gratuitous for months!
He also told me that I could go significant once again already 
!
I think if yous become claret clots y'all should besides go back to the doctor (I read that somewhere).

Oh thats a shocker to exist able to get pregnant so before long I hadnt even though about that. Well at least you are warned and not worried any more. I dont have clotting so far so I think its ok. Yep we are getting k, madly in honey with her every bit I am sure you are with yours.
